Subject Development (Secondary)

Subject leaders are key drivers of school improvement.  ​​

Developing them fully will bring out the best in their teams and impact every student in your school.

In a subject review, I can 

​​​​

• meet with senior and middle leaders to learn about the department and to discuss strengths, development needs and goals

​​​

• create a bespoke programme, which might include reviews and support for curriculum, assessment, resources, teaching methods, raising attainment strategies, interventions, or effective department meetings

​​​

• create capacity where needed by helping to implement the programme

​

• continually discuss this ongoing work with you and your senior team to ensure that it fits your priorities.
