Behaviour and Attitudes

The most effective behaviour systems create a culture of high achievement, prevent problems, help students who have made mistakes to learn from this and re-engage positively, and build good character.

Sometimes, you need an outside perspective to help you achieve this.

I can work with you to

  • create a vision for a behaviour system that fits your ethos, is supportive and sets high expectations

  • develop purposeful routines that help prevent behaviour problems before they arise

  • design and implement graduated, constructive responses to behaviour concerns

  • ensure that the behaviour system is grounded in relationships with staff and opportunities to identify and correct behaviour

  • ensure your behaviour systems support students with SEND and those from disadvantaged backgrounds

  • use data to identify other key groups within school that need extra support

  • build partnerships with parents

  • support positive behaviour through recognition

  • link your behaviour systems to to the bigger picture of pastoral support, safeguarding, personal development and wider school life and culture

  • use CPD and ongoing support to help staff deliver improved behaviour and a positive culture.
